Fire Pumps

A fire pump is part of a fire sprinkler systems water supply and can be powered by diesel, steam or electricity. The pump intake is either connected to the public underground water supply piping, or a static water source. Accurate Fire Protection and Security supplies and installs fire pumps and works on all aspects of the fire pumps including suction, discharge, auxiliary equipment, power supplies, including power supply arrangements, electric drive and control, diesel engine drive and control, steam turbine drive and control, and acceptance tests and operation. AFPS utilizes the Ontario Fire Code, Ontario Building Code, NFPA 20, NFPA 25, NFPA 14 for maintenance and installation of standpipe and fire pumps.
